The Headache
After a period of rapid growth but with limited structural maturity, the organisation lacked strategic and business plans, defined roles, and systemised processes. In a highly regulated sector, training was inconsistent, documentation unclear, and internal functions poorly aligned.
With mounting regulatory scrutiny and operational risks—including potential closure—urgent strategic intervention was needed to stabilise, formalise, and future-proof the business.
The Treatment
With executive leadership absent during a period of crisis, CXO Advisory stepped in to lead and oversee a full recovery:
- Embedded interim CEO, COO, CPO, CIO and CCO
- Led workshops with executive and frontline teams separately to identify goals and pain points.
- Led digital transformation overhaul exchanging antiquated data management processes into a highly advanced and digitised data hub.
- Developed strategic plans for each business unit that mapped SMART goals, objectives and actions.
- Revised all position descriptions to reflect plan actions and integrated them into a new performance system.
- Overhauled all communications, policy, system and compliance materials to ensure consistency
- Implemented a Learning Management System and instructional design for ongoing training for frontline teams.
