PRIVACY POLICY

Let’s get the boring bit out of the way…

Yes, we hate those annoying pop-ups too. But Australian privacy law says we need to tell you how we handle your information—and honestly, it’s important. The short version: we don’t flog your data to dodgy marketers, we don’t sell your secrets, and we treat any information you share with the same care we’d expect for ourselves.

Plain English Promise: We’ll protect your info, we won’t spam you, and we’ll never sell your data. The legal bits are here because they have to be—but the trust bit is what really matters.

01. Who We Are

We’re CXO Advisory, a boutique consultancy helping organisations cut through the noise and align strategy, brand, systems, and people . You can find us at:

CXO Advisory

Email: hello@cxoadvisory.au

Phone: +61 7 3472 7442

To provide our services (or even just respond to an enquiry), we may collect:

  • Your name and contact details (email, phone, etc.)

  • Information you provide through forms, emails, or meetings

  • Website usage data (cookies, analytics, etc.—more below)

We’ll only use your information for purposes you’d reasonably expect, including:

  • Responding to enquiries

  • Delivering consultancy services you’ve engaged us for

  • Sending updates, proposals, or resources (only if you’ve opted in)

  • Meeting legal or regulatory obligations

We use standard website analytics (like most businesses) to understand how people use our site and improve it. If you don’t like the idea of cookies, you can block or delete them in your browser—our site will still work fine.

We don’t sell, rent, or trade your information. We may share data with trusted third parties only when necessary, such as:

  • IT service providers (for secure hosting and email)

  • Legal or regulatory authorities (if required by law)

Your data is stored securely on Australian servers and only accessed by people who genuinely need it. We use modern security measures to protect information from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access.

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Request corrections if it’s inaccurate or out of date

To do this, contact us at hello@cxoadvisory.au.

If you think we’ve mishandled your personal information, get in touch with us first—we’ll do our best to sort it quickly. If you’re still not happy, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

From time to time, we may update this policy (laws change, and so do websites). The most current version will always live here.

Nothing to actually add here but having 10 points instead of 9 satisfies our OCD tendencies.
